My name is Caroline Power and I’ve been grooming dogs/cats for 23 years. I hold the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for professional dog stylists and was one of the first people in the North East of England to gain this qualification. I also hold NVQ’s Level 1, 2 & 3 in Animal Care.
I have had the opportunity to work in different animal establishments, including employment with an international dog judge in Athens, boarding kennels, veterinary surgeries, breeding kennels of cocker spaniels and daschunds and pet establishments. Working for a breeder gave me the opportunity to prepare dogs for shows and Crufts.
Over the years I have set up an animal care unit within a training organisation and taught NVQs in Animal Care. I have continued with this organisation ensuring internal quality is maintained within the Animal Care qualification.
Grooming dogs to a high standard is my continuous aim, whilst ensuring your pet enjoys the highest standards of safety and happiness while in my care. I am a perfectionist, striving to give the best quality service, ensuring dogs are groomed to breed standard.
